Karbonn Mobiles has announced two budget Android smartphones, namely Karbonn A8 and Karbonn A9 Star. Both phones have been made available through online store Infibeam.com.
The Karbonn A9 Star, priced at Rs 5,699, features a 3.9 inch screen with 800 x 480 pixel resolution. The A9 Star is powered by a 1 GHz dual core processor, 512 MB RAM, and Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Along with that it comes with 4 GB of internal storage which can be expanded to 32 GB. It also has a 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front camera as well. The device uses a 1500 mAh battery pack, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity.
