Google Search for Android update brings beautiful search results and more

Google has started rolling out a new update for its official search app on Android today. The update app brings a few new features including a new hotword ‘Ok Google,’ which can be used to initiate a new Google search. ‘Ok Google’ is currently US only but it might be available for more countries in the future updates.

As always, the Google Search update will be released in phases, so it might take time to appear on your Android device.

Here is a look at the full change-log:

New hotword: “Ok Google” (US only)
More beautiful search results (rolling out gradually)
Tell Google to keep you updated about notable people when you search for them
All these changes are valid only for user with devices running on Android 4.1 or above. There is no word on whether anything has been updated for phones with Android 4.0 or below.
