Micromax is reportedly planning to launch its first full HD smartphone in the coming weeks. According to Twitter user MMXNewscaster, who has a pretty good record with Micromax leaks, this full HD smartphone will be dubbed as Micromax A250 Canvas Turbo.
In other details, Canvas Turbo will also pack a quad-core processor, probably made from MediaTek. Remaining specifications are a mystery right now but if we were to guess, you can expect to see Android 4.3, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, 13MP rear camera, front camera, microSD card slot, dual-SIM support and the usual set of connectivity options.
The pricing is also unclear at this moment but it would probably be over INR 20,000.
In related news, Micromax is also readying Android 4.3 updates for at least three of its smartphones – Canvas Doodle 2, Canvas 4 and Canvas HD. There is no word on when the roll-out will begin but the updates should be coming around the launch of A250 Canvas Turbo.
