Samsung Galaxy Star Pro duos now available for INR 6,989

Samsung has started selling a new Android smartphone in the Indian market. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Star Pro duos S7262, the phone is now available for a maximum retail price (MRP) for INR 7,550 but retailers are selling it for around INR 6,999. You can now grab the phone from your nearby brick and mortar stores or Homeshop18, which seems to be the only online seller to list the phone at this moment.

Samsung Galaxy Star Pro features a 4-inch WVGA display, Android 4.1, 1GHz single-core processor, and 1500 mAh battery. The phone also comes with 2MP rear camera, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage and the usual set of connectivity options.

Samsung has imported over a lakh units of the phone in last one and a half week, the company is clearly hoping to sell a lot of Galaxy Star Pro units. Considering the price-tag and Samsung’s marketing muscle, the company can surely sell these many units.
