iBall releases Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus smartphone for INR 11,999


iBall, Indian electronics manufacturer, has quietly released the new Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus smartphone in the Indian market. Available on ebay.in for INR 11,999, the smartphone boasts of some decent specs including an octa-core processor in a slim and lightweight design. The phone can now be purchased from ebay, and we expect to see expanded availability soon.

Powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Cortex-A7 processor, the dual-SIM Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus comes loaded with Android 4.4 KitKat and features 16GB of internal memory and 2GB of RAM. The memory can be increased by using microSD card of upto 32GB. The phone also sports a 5-inch 1280x720p HD(289 PPI) OGS touch panel, 2250 mAh battery, and a durable rear panel with glass finish to give it a premium look.

On the camera front, the smartphone features a 13MP auto-focus shooter with LED flash at the back and a 5MP front-facing camera for video calling and selfies. The rear camera supports Live photo option,  Face beauty, Panorama mode, Face detection, Smile shot and V capture modes. Among the connectivity options, the Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus comes with 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and A-GPS and a microUSB port.

Similar to other Android smartphones, Andi 5Q has proximity sensor,  ambient light sensor, magnetic sensor and G-sensor. Other nifty features include Smart Answer, Smart Dial, Flip to mute, Shake to Answer and OTG Function. iBall has made sure to offer a feature-packed smartphone while competing against the likes of Moto G (2nd gen) and the newly launched Yu Yureka.
