Intex has become the first Indian smartphone vendor to launch an Android smartphone powered by 5.0 Lollipop in the country. The company has unveiled the new Aqua Star L, which will go on sale exclusively at e-retailer Snapdeal.com for INR 6,990.
“Our newest offering in the Aqua collection, the Aqua Star L proves Intex’s dedication to remain a technology supernal. It is absolutely imperative to run along with the technological advancements to stay in a competitive environment,” said Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Mobile Business Head, Intex Technologies.
Intex Star L features a 5-inch FWVGA display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and Android 5.0. The phone also comes with 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and 2000 mAh battery. In addition, Intex has included dual-SIM support, 3G, 8MP rear camera and 2MP front shooter in the smartphone.
According to Intex, Aqua Star L will be available beginning February 16 in Black and White colour options.
