Pushbullet has released an update for its Android application that allows the users to reply to messages on WhatsApp, Hangouts, Facebook Messenger, Line and Telegram right from their computer. For now, Pushbullet only supports the previously-mentioned messaging services, but it plans to add more to the list.
Pushbullet is known for providing seamless integration between a smartphone and a computer and this update enables quick replies from the ease of your desktop without picking up your smartphone. The redesigned notification window will be displayed on your computer screen with a new reply option along with the usual dismiss button. Specifically for the Hangouts notifications, the users will have to install the Android Wear app on their smartphone, however they will neither need a smartwatch nor open the app for the reply support to function in Pushbullet notifications.
In addition, Pushbullet has rolled out a new widget for Android home-screen, which will allow a user to toggle Android-to-computer notification forwarding with the tap of a button.
The updated version of Pushbullet requires Android 4.4 and above and can be downloaded from Google Play store.
