Xiaomi launches Redmi Note Prime with 4G LTE, 3100mAh battery at Rs. 8,499

Xiaomi surprised everyone by launching the Redmi Note Prime today. One of the highlight of the device is that it is made in India, which makes it the second Mi phone manufactured in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, in collaboration with Foxconn. The device will be up for purchase in White color option, for a price of Rs. 8,499.

The Redmi Note Prime features a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display, and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor paired with 2GB of RAM, and 16GB internal storage. It sports a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, along with a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The device is backed by a 3,100mAh battery, and supports connectivity options such as dual-SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and in terms of software, it runs Android 4.4 KitKat-based MIUI 7 out-of-the-box.
