After teasing it for some time, Lenovo-owned Motorola has finally launched the Moto G4 Play in India. The device will be up for sale in Black and White colors for Rs. 8,999 exclusively on Amazon. The first sale will kick off at 10 PM, tonight.
As far as its specifications are concerned, Moto G4 Play comes with a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display with a pixel density of 294ppi. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC clocked at 1.2GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and the Adreno 306 GPU. The internal storage is 16GB, which can be further expanded via a microSD card to up to 128GB.
Moto G4 Play runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. This single micro-SIM smartphone also spots an 8MP camera at the rear with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. In the front, a 5MP snapper decorates the device. There are several images enhancing features housed in the device, including burst mode, auto HDR, panorama, drag to focus, exposure, etc. The users can also tap anywhere on the display to capture the picture. Moto G4 Play can record full-HD videos at 30 fps.
Regarding connectivity, the Moto G4 Play supports GPRS/EDGE, 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, A-GPS, and Micro-USB connectivity options. It also packs an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor. A 2800mAh battery completes the package with a 10W rapid charger.
